I hereby ban boring Sundays!

Instead of snoozing in front of the telly, why not charter a catamaran and drag 25 of your mates out to sail around the Sydney harbour with you? Here are a few quick tips to organise on of your own!

T-Pain getting the party started for us!

1) Charter a boat for about $60-$70 per person, and keep your fingers crossed for gorgeous, sea-ready weather. I highly recommend Seabird Seven (ask for Brett!), which comfortably sits 30 people, has a fantastic sound system and a BBQ on board.

A week's worth of rain results in this - sunny, clear and smooth-sailing!

2) BYO like hangovers don't exist. Invite your guests to bring a little of their own and always bring a little extra to hand around. Don't skimp on the food either. There's nothing like a bunch of drunk and ravenous guests on a rampage, so make sure you feed them!

There are some great perks to having a BBQ on board. Read: sizzling snags!

3) Music makes the mood, so make sure you've got a good playlist going!

We're on a boat!
4) Go for a dip - harbour sharks notwithstanding!

Alternative to a swim - catamaran netting!

5) And in the event of a few casualties... keep that First Aid kit handy!

Such a shame I missed out on the boat party. But I did have a great time catching up with my sis just before she left. Can't wait for your next event. :) xx lynn
